The way we bring ourselves to the Sunday table cocreates the spiritual experience for others. Our engagement, responsiveness and participation give energy to the spirit of every gathering.

Table gatherings are crucial for the family. The way we share the table shapes our relationships. As the Family of Families, we come together every Sunday to share God’s table.

Journeying together, we grow heart in heart. We learn to be with one another through the festive and the ordinary, the peaks and the mundane.

Job’s cry this Sunday reminds us about the quality of pain, which only God can attend to. Contrary to Job, though, to whom God responded directly, most of us hear God’s message through others.

And we become God’s voice for our loved ones.

Energising songs, engaging homilies, child-friendly liturgies, and a warm cup of tea before you reenter the February weather is our way of sharing the table at the Family Mass this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole.
