We have many hidden treasures: gifts, talents and abilities that we haven’t even discovered yet. Still, the greatest treasure within us is the Spirit of God.
Do you not know that you are a house of God and that the Holy Spirit lives in you? If any man destroys the house of God, God will destroy him. God’s house is holy. You are the place where He lives.
Each of us carries in an earthen vessel the gifts of God. God has also deposited treasures inside of us that are tied to our purpose.
We have to draw out those treasures inside us through what we speak and how we live out our faith.
My* most precious treasure is being a Eucharistic Minister. It empowers my closeness to our Father.
By his Spirit, I constantly discover that God has fully equipped us with everything we need.
So I pray:
Father, thank you for choosing to live inside of me.
Thank you for showing me the treasures you have deposited within me as a eucharistic minister.
Thank you, I can fulfil your call for me all the days of my life.
