Voluntary Contribution Overview
To ensure you and your children have a positive spiritual experience, many hours are given to this programme.
Having sufficient resources and funds to fulfil our commitments to you, depends on your voluntary contributions.
This year, we are asking families to make a voluntary contribution to support the running of this programme.
Your voluntary contribution for this programme enables the following:
- The employment of a dedicated Sacramental Coordinator to manage and deliver the programme.
- The development and organisation of the ceremonies, including but not limited to
- the registration process
- the preparation programmes
- information meetings
- services:
- Enrolment masses
- First Reconciliation liturgies
- Services of Light
- Reconciliation services for Confirmation candidates
- Supporting the further development of the weekly Family Mass throughout the year
- The administrative work (including liaising with parishes where your child was baptised to keep your sacramental paperwork up to date and updating the baptismal registers with confirmation entries)
- Maintenance and further development of IT solutions to support the programme
- Ensuring Safeguarding and Data Protection practices are up to date, implemented and observed.
The estimated cost is €60 per family. We would welcome a voluntary contribution to support this programme.
