Observing something growing or changing can fill us with wonder and awe.
Do you ever think about how a tiny seed can become something great?
Do you consider how separate parts combine to be something delightful – like ingredients in a cake?
Do you observe in awe how a child grows and matures into adulthood?
Patience, courage, nourishment, encouragement, trust and faith, all support us throughout those times of observation, wonder and awe.
Prayer:
O Loving God, guide us and strengthen us in our faith in you.
Open our eyes and ears to the Spirit in our lives. Help us trust your hidden ways and give us the courage to respond to that greatness.
