A wonderful evening for Women of Faith and friends and family was enjoyed by all.
Great support for the ‘evening gathering’ organised by the Women of Faith in Holy Rosary Church. Music and reflection were the theme of the evening and the Instruments of Peace Singers, conducted by Tony Norton, sang to great applause.
Evelyn Cawley, Kathleen Kelleher, Anne Dempsey, Jacinta Barnwell, Tina Bambrick and Miriam Farrell an Argentina resident, were amongst the contributors speaking on themes of Bealtine, the Holy Spirit and Creation – moving from Spring to Summer, reflection on life and faith, and the transition from Argentina to Ireland and forging a connection to a new community.
Afterwards there was a social gathering in the garden of the Church with music provided by Cristoir Begley well know teacher and violinist, and Alan Maizon guitarist.
Thank you to all who attended and made it happen. A special mention to a group of students from St. David’s Secondary School who helped so much alongside the team from Kilian House Family Centre.
