Fr. Desmond Hayden has been appointed by Archbishop Farrell as our new Parish Priest of Greystones and Kilquade the Pastoral Area. Fr. Desmond Hayden will be with us in the middle of April.
Fr. Desmond Hayden is a native of Dublin and has served in Skerries, Templeogue, Rathfarnham and recently in the Booterstown/Donnybrook parish partnership. He spent three years as Parish Chaplain in Clontarf while serving as Master of Ceremonies to the then Archbishop, Diarmuid Martin. He also spent a number of years as a monk at Ampleforth Benedictine Abbey in Yorkshire.
We welcome Fr. Desmond to our Pastoral Team and wish him every success as they take up his new ministry in our Pastoral Area.
