There was a day in Jesus’ Mother’s life when Joseph wanted her to pack her things and leave. Such was the actual Advent of the Holy Family. Read More

Distrust, lack of communication, fear, poverty and uncertainty: The Holy Family is holy not because they knew no relational issues.
Jesus’ Family becomes holy by learning to perceive each difficulty with love.

At Sunday Is Everything: Family Mass Initiative, we believe that God calls every Family to host his promises at home.
Often, however, we get so caught up in the maintenance of our households that we can’t meet one another. And when the absence becomes a crisis, we doubt God would enter our misery.

And yet, Advent reminds us that we worship God, who takes poverty, simplicity, and all the sorrows of our lives. We believe in God, who wants to be invited into our arguments, misunderstandings, lack of trust or breach of love. The woundedness of our hearts, the lack of strength and moments of despair are poor enough for Jesus to be born. Anyone, anywhere, anytime, can host his promises.

This Sunday, at Family Mass, we are looking at Word that nourishes faith, hope and love at home.
Come and take your place at Jesus’ table.
