As Synod 2024 continues in Rome, the second Synodal 2024 Newsletter is available online and copies will also be available in the back of our churches.
What is at stake at the assembly in Rome? At first glance, it seems to involve a new way of living the community of the faith, the Church, locally and universally.
Perhaps more fundamentally, we are being asked to encounter Jesus again (as Pope Francis invited us all in his first letter) and then we go on to ask how can we best serve the Gospel, and make the Good News really good news in our time? Let us continue to pray for the Synod.
