Beginning Experience is a peer support group dedicated to helping those after the loss of a life partner. Structured programmes are facilitated by people who are themselves widowed, separated or divorced. Anam Cara, the charity organisation that supports bereaved parents, will hold its monthly Parent Support Evening on Monday 18th May 2026 at 7.30pm in the Parkview Hotel, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Sacraments Conference 2026
This year’s conference explores the various roles of Parish, School and Family as we accompany families on the journey of Sacramental Preparation. All priests, parish pastoral workers, catechists and parish sacramental teams are warmly invited.
It takes place on June 20 from 10am to 3pm at St Paul’s, Arran Quay. Cost €10 per person. To register please email angela.mcgarry@dublindiocese.ie. Places are limited.
Teen Hope Leader’s Training
Diocesan Certificate in Catechesis
This 8-session course, run in St Paul’s Arran Quay, is for current members of a Parish Sacramental Preparation Team or anyone who might be considering this important ministry. The course is divided into 4 foundation modules and 4 modules that explore Catechesis in practice. The course costs €200. Those who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate.
