To use the machine, select your amount or enter your amount, then tap/insert your card.
When you ‘Tap’ you now get the opportunity to put in your name, telephone number or email address. This in turn allows the parish to accumulate all donations from the tap device, and from family offering/Share/Common Fund or dues offering collections. Your information is only required once per card you use. Therefore, for all combined donations over €250 the parish can claim the tax back.
This is an important source of income for us each year. To support this, you are invited to give your contact details. This is only required once for each card that is used. You are encouraged to choose a quiet day when the church is not busy to insert your contact details.
