We were totally blessed with the weather as we had a beautiful sunny day for most of the event, except at the end when the heavens opened and the last 4/5 teams got drenched as they finished their rounds.
Everyone was in great form and there was a buzz of excitement and anticipation around Delgany Golf Club as the golfers reunited for this popular event after 3 years.
In a break with recent years, there was a Social Evening for non-golfers and parishioners who wished to support parish fundraising. After the prizegiving, a delicious food buffet was enjoyed by all, there was music and entertainment by Jason Stubbs who had everyone on the dance floor.
Amid all of the chat and banter, there was a Golden Ticket Raffle, an Auction and last but not least, the Parish Raffle took place
