During the month of May, we have our Festival of Faith with the celebrations of First Holy Communion and Conformation. Due to these ceremonies in a number of our churches, there will be a change to Sunday Mass times.
On Sunday, the 4th of May, the usual Irish Mass will be at the earlier time of 10 am in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones for the community. The Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath pupils will be celebrating their First Holy Communion at this community Mass. Children from St. Brigid’s National School will be making their First Holy Communion at 12 noon in The Holy Rosary Church.
On Sunday, the 11th of May there will be no 10am Family Mass for parishioners in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, as children from Greystones Community National School, Greystones Educate Together National School, Woodstock Educate Together, children from Church of Ireland National Schools & other schools/home schools make their First Holy Communion at 10am and children from Kilcoole Primary School at 12 noon.
On Sunday, 18th of May, there will be no 10am Family Mass for parishioners in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, as children from St. Laurence’s National School make their First Holy Communion at 10am and children from St. Kevin’s National School at 12 noon.
We are grateful to the communities in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, and in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole for accommodating the large number of families who will be in attendance for the celebrations of First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
