With almost 650 children presenting for the Sacraments of Confirmation and Communion beginning in 2 weeks time, parental help is an absolute must.
Parents and Guardians, your support at a sacramental ceremony (other than the one your child is presenting at) is really needed please.
An appeal went out last week to parents of children making their First Holy Communion and Confirmation this year.
To date 9 parents have come forward and this is much appreciated.
However, ideally 8 – 10 parents are required per ceremony to ensure each child and their family receive the same hospitality and help when they all come to celebrate this great occasion of faith.
Parents and Guardians – we cannot do it without you… please consider assisting and joining the team for just 4 hours one of the weekends in the coming weeks.
A brief training session will take place on the Wednesday evening prior to the weekend you are involved in.
