CELEBRATION ARRANGEMENTS

WHO IS INVITED TO THE CELEBRATION IN PERSON

Considering our limited resources and learning from the best practices implemented in the last years, we’re asking for each child celebrating the sacrament of First Holy Communion to be accompanied by parents/guardians and two additional guests (the child receiving the sacrament plus four others).
Confirmation candidates are welcome to be accompanied by parents/guardians and the sponsor (the child receiving the sacrament, the sponsor, and two guests).
We’ll arrange a technical team that is skilled and already well-experienced in streaming liturgies. You will have a special moment with your child while other members of your family and friends can join online.

PARISH PREPARATION PROCESS

The most crucial part of the sacramental journey is placing Sunday mass in the heart of family preparation. We especially invite you to engage with the Family Mass, celebrated every Sunday, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole.

WHERE IS THE SACRAMENT CELEBRATED

All sacramental services will be held in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole.
The church’s capacity allows us to host the celebrations according to our limited resources, and it is our most tech-developed facility, granting high-quality streaming of the services.

SACRAMENTAL COMMUNICATION

Since the entire Faith Community accompanies families preparing for the celebration of sacraments, all updates and resources are included in our newsletter to present First Holy Communion and Confirmation preparation and celebration in the communal context.
Families who registered for the sacramental celebration in 2024 are included as the recipients of our e-newsletter. Please sign up here in case you haven’t received our e-letter and remember to check the updates weekly.
