We were joined by Bishop Donal Roche and members of local Christian Churches on Saturday 11th October morning at 11am, as a convoy of vehicles and their drivers headed for Ukraine.
Preparations began many moths previous to October 11th as many medical supplies and equipment were gathered by the team going to Ukraine.
The final touch was to ask God to bless the team of drivers and companions as they began their 5th adventure across Europe to Lviv in Ukraine.
The Ecumenical liturgy was led by Bishop Donal Roche with prayers by Fr. Des, Rev. Ross Styles, Fr. Bernardo and Rev. Natasha Quinn-Thomas.
We were blessed to have two Ukrainian choirs present – Ukrainian Song Club, from Bray and Grono Choir, from Kilkenny – along with local Church Singers & Schools & soloist James Meaney.
Thankfully, all goods were delivered and all members of the convoy have returned safely. Let us all be grateful for them and their vision.
