The death has occurred of Fr. Eamonn Clarke.

Fr. Eamonn was ordained in 1966 in Rome by Pope Paul VI. After several chaplaincies, he was curate in Howth from 1973 to 1974, Aughrim Street from 1974 to 1982, Coolock from 1982 to 1985, Palmerstown from 1985 to 1995, Templeogue from 1995 to 1999, Kilquade from 1999 to 2011, and Greystones and Kilquade from 2011. He continued to assist at St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, following retirement in 2017.

Reposing at St. Anthony’s Church Kilcoole from 3pm on Friday concluding with reception prayers at 5.30pm.

Fr. Eamonn’s Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.00am, after which Fr Eamonn will be laid to rest in Kilquade New Cemetery.

Fr. Eamonn was treasured and will be dearly missed by the community in Kilcoole and in the wider community in the Pastoral Area of Greystones and Kilquade
