Can you suggest a Partnership of Parishes name?
As part of the Building Hope initiative, parishes are now clustered together into partnerships within the Diocese.
We are together as Greystones and Kilquade.
The guidelines given are as follows. The name is to:
- have a unifying character, avoiding the name of any one parish/church in the partnership;
- be appropriate to the partnership mission or connect with a tradition of faith in the area e.g. a local saint’s name or the name of a local monastery or well;
- follow the format: ‘X Partnership of Parishes’ where X is the suggested name, e.g. St Mary’s Partnership of Parishes;
