Ash Wednesday is a sacred and powerful reminder that we are fragile and human, for dust you are and to dust you shall return.
Yet within that humility lies a profound truth, we are deeply loved, deeply known, and deeply cherished by God. It marks the beginning of the Lenten journey a season of reflection, repentance, and renewal.
The ashes placed upon our foreheads are not a symbol of despair, but of surrender. They call us to pause, to examine our hearts, and to realign our lives with faith, compassion, and purpose.
This Lent, may we return to God with humble hearts, seeking forgiveness where we have fallen short and strength where we feel weak.
May it be a time of prayer that deepens our trust, fasting that strengthens our discipline, and charity that expands our love for others.
Though we are dust, we are dust breathed into life by God Himself.
May this holy season renew our faith, restore our hope, and draw us closer to His divine mercy and grace. Amen.
