The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is observed from Saturday the 18th to Saturday the 25th January – the octave of St. Peter and St. Paul.
The theme for the year 2025 is “Do you believe this? (John 11:26). This week offers an invitation to celebrate the common faith of Christians, as expressed in the Creed, to draw on this shared heritage and to enter more deeply into the faith that unites all Christians.
On Sunday 19th January, Fr. Des Hayden has been invited to attend and give the homily at the 10.30am Service in St. Patrick’s, Church of Ireland, Greystones. We welcome Canon David Mungavin to the 6.30pm Ruah Mass in The Holy Rosary Church where he will give the homily.
