Why not put your stamp on something and spread the Christmas joy a little further?
With any post you may receive this Christmas, trim the stamps and drop them to collection box in the foyer of Kilian House Family Centre, Greystones. These are taken by a dedicated parishioner who sorts, trims and brings them into Merchants Quay where they are used to raise funds for charity.
You might ask – do the stamps need to be prepared in a certain manner?
Yes, we ask that people trim the stamps to leave an approximate margin of around 1cm around the stamps. This will ensure the perforations of the stamp aren’t damaged but will leave sufficient paper for them to be held and used. If this is not possible – do what you can!
Remember, it’s the thought that stamps! Thank you.
