Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation that welcomes a person in the Faith Community.

The preparation for Baptism is an important process, and we are delighted to be journeying and supporting you in the role of your child's first and best teacher.

Before you start filling in this, we advise it is a requirement that we have a copy of the child's birth certificate . You will need to upload a copy of it in the next section.

Parental Permission

Baptism into the Catholic Church can be requested by the parent who is the legal guardian of a child.

Signature of this by one parent alone is sufficient where they are unmarried and are the sole guardian of the child and are not requesting that the other parent's name be entered on the Baptism register.
