The World Day of the Sick is observed each year on the 11th of February, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes. Join us for a Healing Service to mark this special day…
The first World Day of the Sick was established in 1992 by Pope St. John Paul II.
Having been diagnosed a year earlier with Parkinson’s Disease, he wanted to bring comfort and hope to others by marking this day as a day of prayer for the sick, to be observed each year.
What better day than on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, she who has brought healing to so many…
Join us for a Service of Healing in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, on Sunday the 11th February at 3pm. We pray for the healing of body, mind, heart and soul, for ourselves and our loved ones who are sick or suffering, and all those in need of healing throughout the world.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!
