Come walk with me.

Bring to mind, a peaceful restful place and imagine you are walking there. A place where you can connect with your surroundings.
Become aware of
– The clean air
– A Gentle breeze
– Bird song
– Running water
– Blowing leaves and earthy smell

Everything around you, has God’s hallmark on it. Everything is God’s creation, how wonderful He is. You are in His presence – can you see?
In this place, do you give yourself the chance to be near Him in this moment?

As you walk, you may need refreshment. You thirst.
Jesus was thirsty at the well… the Samaritan woman shared her water with him.

In this encounter, Jesus was, going out of His way to connect with her need and reveal Himself to her. She did not see this, until he helped her.

He could see the ache in her heart. He could see the parched places of her soul she tried unsuccessfully to quiet. He could see her trying to fill her “heart bucket” with the well water her world offered.
He tells her, “I am He.” She immediately drops her water jug.
At that very moment her soul had indeed been so filled with Living Water, she didn’t need the water jug anymore!

Similarly, He reveals Himself to us, as well. He is revealed to us in everything, we just need to see it, to see the Living Water.
The key to accessing the Living Water and the satisfaction of the soul that the Lord has designed for us, is to be near Him, in His presence.

We all need Living Water to sustain us and refresh us.
We all need Living Water to grow in God’s love.
Open your hearts to Him…
without Living Water,
we are nothing…
without Him…
we are nothing…

You can’t “get” the satisfaction in His hand, without being close enough to hold that hand.
Draw near to Him, so that you can access the Living Water only Jesus can provide.
