As a community we remember our dead throughout the year at ceremonies in our cemeteries.
The following ceremonies took place in 2023:
- The Redford Cemetery Mass: Friday 30th June at 8pm.
- The Cemetery Mass for Kilquade New Cemetery, Priestsnewtown: Sunday 23rd July at 12.00. This Mass is instead of the 12 noon Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Kilquade.
- The Blessing of the Graves for St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery Kilquade: Sunday 16th July following Sunday Mass at noon.
- The Blessing of the Graves for Lott Lane Cemetery: 15th August following the 7pm Mass.
- The Blessing of the Graves in Kilmurray Cemetery: 5th November at 3pm
- The Blessing of the Graves in Redford Cemetery: 5th November at 3pm
